AMTT presented BE THE GIG @ Oxford Art Factory  1 -3 July 2024.

BEHIND THE GIG @ Oxford Art Factory was a technically terrific success! With 250 attendees from 14 schools state-wide in attendance and some coming from as far as Scone & Mona Vale to be a part of one of the days.

In July we hosted 3 individual events with our industry experts showcasing their skills and knowledge to the students. Working with live band “Vertebrae”, Instructors assisted students in mic’ing up instruments, performing soundcheck, program lighting cues across 2 consoles and wireless Astera & wired DMX lighting and then run the light & sound consoles for the band performance at the end of the day.

July, saw 250 students & teachers experience a day in the life of a tech industry professional, setting up and operating for a LIVE guest band. Students were guided in a hands-on approach to setting up microphones for real instruments. Using the in-house Lighting and additional floor package of Elation, ACME, Wireless DMX Astera Titan Tubes and Chamsys lighting consoles. The students themselves worked on the design and performance of the stage lighting and mixing of live sound.

BEHIND THE GIG @ THE METRO 2024 was an electrifying triumph! We enjoyed 2 days of industry experts showcasing their skills and knowledge working with a live band in the music & entertainment industry. Our aim was to inspire the next generation to choose this industry as a career path - We've created that buzz of enthusiasm!
200 students & teachers experienced a day in the life of a tech industry professional, setting up and performing a LIVE guest band. Students learnt how to set up microphones on real instruments. Using the in-house and additional floor package of Elation & Wireless DMX Astera Titan Tubes, the stage was set with state of the art lighting to create the perfect gig atmosphere.  All students participated in the design and performance of the stage lighting and mixing live sound.
